Welcome Ladies! We are glad that you have chosen to visit Contagious Joy 4 Him! This web site is dedicated to Southern Baptist Ministers Wives. It is the goal of the fellow Minister’s Wives who have launched this site to connect and network every single Southern Baptist Minister's Wife who would desire to be connected with other women in the SBC serving God. We are living in a day of great extremes in ministry. We see many victories but with those victories especially in the American church we are seeing great strife and overwhelming turmoil resulting in feelings of disillusionment, discouragement, and defeat.

In Peter 1:6-8 it reads, "In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
7 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory."

The theme verse for this site is taken from verse eight of First Peter chapter one. Our prayer is that as you live your life in the fish bowl you will learn how to "greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full glory." In Verse 6, we are told that for a little while we must be distressed by different types of trials. These trials are allowed into our lives to purify us as precious gold, "...to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

Now we don’t know about you but truthfully life in the ministry gets so tough sometimes we can lose our hope that it will ever get better. This site is designed for you to be connected to women who understand and know what it’s like to be where you are. In John 16:33, Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." As a Minister’s wife some of us are well acquainted with tribulations. Our hope and prayer is that you will meet and talk and pray with like minded women who are also well-acquainted with tribulations and come through the fire refined as precious gold. We all need someone with "skin on" to speak to us the truth of God’s word that most of us know by heart. We need a friend who will stick closer than a brother and a church member and there are no better women to do that than another Minister’s Wife.

As we travel on our specific journey that God has called us each individually to - our final desire is that as women we will come to understand the heart of our Father. He loves us. He knows where we are and He will never leave us or forsake us. He is our righteous deliverer, and our Great Healer. While we learn who He truly is to us then we will discover that our joy is contagious for Him. He is not holding out on us no matter what happens – He desires for us to rejoice in the trials knowing that as we come through them we can give Him glory for He is worthy to receive our "praise and our glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
